About me

I am Melisa, an(other) Argentinian in London. I am a legal translator turned SEO specialist & wine enthusiast. I write about history, culture, food, traditions, landscape and wine, specifically about the only original Argentinian grape (sorry Malbec): Torrontés.

My mission

Argentina is well-known for the best Malbec in the world, but there is a forgotten white wine.

I am on a mission to make the world know the wines of the hidden region of Argentina my family originates from: the Famatina Valley.

More precisely to talk endlessly about the only native white Argentinian grape: Torrontés.

My approach

My approach is not a technical one as I am neither a sommelier, nor a winemaker or merchant. Instead, I write from my personal experiences, family ties and origins.

I want the world to know about the Famatina Valley in the Argentinian route of wine, through history, food, experience & wine.
